For all Senior Managers with responsibility for the completion of staff periodic development reviews. Any member of staff with significant opportunity for the completion of periodic development reviews

Who should attend?

• Initially, all Senior Managers with responsibility for the completion of staff periodic development reviews
• Any member of staff with significant opportunity for the completion of periodic development reviews

Objectives

• To get to know and understand one’s own personal style, how the individual communicates with and relate to others
• To know how to adapt personal management style to the various situations encountered in management of people and teams
• To know about the “Michelin General Competencies Guide” and be able to apply it
• To develop coaching skills and to know how to effectively conduct a periodic development interview

Content

• Use of the Myers Briggs Personality Questionnaire to explore individual personality preferences
• The Michelin “General Competencies Guide”, structure, content and application
• The various management situations and the appropriate management approach
• Coaching skills
• The four learning style preferences
• How to conduct a development interview (Periodic Development Review)

METHOD

• Presentations and discussions.
• Use of self assessment tests
• Case studies
• Working in small groups
• Role play with external consultant support
