Aimed at: New and Experienced Tyre Technicians who are responsible for the removal and fitting of Pneumatic and Solid Tyres to Divided and Multi Piece Wheels with and without a hydraulic press.
– Be able to state the construction and function of material handling tyres
– Understand the importance of and apply Health & Safety in the work place
– Be able to identify & condition check material handling wheels
– Be able to correctly measure material handling wheels for replacement
– Be able to safely conduct tyre changes using a hydraulic & manual press including
vital pre-use safety checks
– Be able to demonstrate the safe machine jacking/blocking & wheel security
procedures when mounting wheel assemblies
