The Motorcycle Tyre Fitting course is 1 day course for up to 6 candidates.
It is aimed at Technicians who are actively involved in fitting and balancing Motorcycle Tyres.
Successful candidates will receive City & Guilds Motorcycle Tyre Fitting accreditation. As well as being recognised throughout the Motor Industry, this qualification will show practical training and competence.
It is advised that candidates have a minimum of 3 months practical motorcycle tyre fitting experience but courses of longer duration can be arranged for those people requiring it.

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
Recognise the importance of different tyre sizes, load/speed indices and other sidewall markings.
Understand Tyre Legislation (Construction & Use Regulations).
Understand the importance of Tubes and Valves.
Identify and understand wheel markings.
Utilise the knowledge and experience gained to improve health and safety procedures.
Demonstrate safe Fitting & Balancing of motorcycle tyres.
