Pre-requisite
• Must be certified to use heavy lifting equipment
• Must have previous fitting experience of large commercial tyres (truck, Agricultural)
• Must have access to your own equipment – which needs to be checked prior to course
Aimed at: Technicians who fit Earthmover Tyres to validate the use of the correct processes for fitting and removing a tyre as well as, if appropriate, safely jacking, removing/refitting a wheel on an Earthmoving machine.

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
• Recognise the importance of different tyre sizes, load/speed indices and other sidewall markings
• Give knowledge of tyre applications and industry machine designations
• Ensure safe practices and the correct equipment are used by focusing candidate on the dangers and how to avoid them
• Demonstrate safe fitting and removal of Earthmover tyres
• Utilise the knowledge and experience gained to improve health and safety procedures
